Minnesota GreenStep Schools
Empowering Minnesota K–12 Schools to Lead the Way in Sustainability
At Bold Futures Now, our signature program is Minnesota GreenStep Schools (GSS)
GSS provides public and private K–12 schools and districts across Minnesota with a free, voluntary best-practices framework. We connect schools to practical resources, hands-on learning opportunities, and a statewide peer network to reduce environmental impacts, lower operating costs, and nurture healthy, thriving educational environments.
Minnesota GreenStep Schools is designed to guide schools step-by-step toward meaningful sustainability. Whether a school is taking its first steps in energy conservation or leading complex, student-driven environmental initiatives, MNGSS provides the tools, technical assistance, and statewide recognition needed to succeed.
